about

This track is really intended for radio use only. I mean, it's been edited for airplay, even though there are only a couple of swear words in it and the content is not objectionable, but you know how public airwaves are!

What you might want to try instead, especially if you're not planning on broadcasting this but are instead going to be listening in private space, is the unedited version over here: wckrspgt.bandcamp.com/track/the-privilege

That's the version with objectionable material in it, the one marked "[explicit]" because of a couple of words.

Really, though, I wonder if the missing words simply stoke the titillation fires of young and impressionable listeners. Is the fact that there are a few bleeped words exciting? Does the edited song become even more "explicit" because it points out where the curse words are? When I was young and impressionable, I think I missed about 65% of the swear words - they just blew on past me. But now that they're pointed out explicitly, young ears know just where to look. Or listen. Or something.

So anyway, here's a pre-edited track for radio airplay. It's still quite good.
